Yes2SDK now supports Jest
Jest is now a Yes2SDK platform, next to Poki, GameDistribution, CrazyGames, Yandex and YouTube.
What Jest is
Jest is a mobile-first web game platform. Players find games on jest.com and come back through SMS and RCS messages. Jest earns from in-app purchases and subscriptions. There are no in-game ads.
What you get
Your game keeps the same Yes2SDK integration it uses on the other platforms. Startup, loading progress, player data, saves and purchases go through the calls you already make. Yes2SDK loads the Jest SDK at runtime, so you never call it yourself.
Jest also has features the other platforms do not. The SDK now covers them:
- Registration prompt. Ask a guest to register, with your own message.
- Notifications. Schedule messages that bring registered players back.
- Subscriptions. Sell recurring access next to one-off purchases.
- Referrals. Share a referral link and list who joined through it.
- Exit request. Save progress when the player is about to leave.
- Image sharing. Let the player share an image from the game.
- Entry point data. Read the payload a player arrived with.
Ad calls stay safe on Jest. They report no fill, so shared ad code keeps working and never shows an ad.
Versions
Jest support needs these releases:
- Core 2.10.0. The dashboard bundles the SDK into your build, so there is nothing to install.
- Unity 2.11.0. Add
https://github.com/yes2games/yes2sdk-unity.git#v2.11.0in the Package Manager. - Defold 1.8.0. Add
https://github.com/yes2games/yes2sdk-defold/archive/refs/tags/v1.8.0.zipto yourgame.projectdependencies.
Dashboard support
The dashboard side is available now. The Yes2Games team handles all of the Jest setup and publishing: turning Jest on for your studio, storing each game's Jest credentials, building the Jest bundle and submitting it to Jest. You make the game ready, upload a build and click Request Publish for Jest. If your game has a backend, it can check signed Jest tokens through the dashboard.
Read the guide
The Jest platform guide covers what your game must do, with examples in TypeScript, C# and Lua, what our reviewers check, and how to submit. Start there, and tell us when your game is ready for Jest.
