FAQs
Quick answers to your most common questions.
What game engines do you support?
Yes2SDK currently supports Unity, Defold, and HTML5 games written in JavaScript or TypeScript. We are working on SDKs for more engines. If your game is mobile only and has no HTML5 version, our team can port approved titles. You pay nothing up front, and the porting cost is recouped from the game’s revenue.
How long does it take to port my mobile game to web?
Porting typically takes 4 to 6 weeks from when you approve our written cost estimate, depending on the game’s complexity. Our team handles browser performance, load size, and adapting controls for desktop and mobile.
Can I choose which platforms my game launches on?
Yes. You pick the platforms when you request review from your game’s onboarding page in the dashboard. We recommend all of them (currently Poki, YouTube Playables, GameDistribution, CrazyGames, and Yandex Games) for the widest reach and revenue.
How long does it take from SDK access to live on all platforms?
Plan for about 6 to 8 weeks if your game needs porting, though it varies by game. That covers SDK integration (usually 1 to 2 weeks), porting (usually 4 to 6 weeks), QA, and each platform’s compliance checks. We handle the platform requirements for you. A game that already has an HTML5 build skips porting and goes live sooner.
Can I update my game after it’s live?
Yes. Upload a new build from the Versions tab of your game in the dashboard and submit it for review. Once it is approved, we roll it out to your game’s platforms. Regular updates keep your game fresh and your players engaged.
What can I see in the developer dashboard?
Revenue and your share, daily active users (DAU), sessions, performance by platform, retention and engagement trends, and revenue trends, for all your games in one place. Figures update regularly, typically daily, as each platform reports its data, so they can lag behind live activity. Monthly statements itemize gross revenue, each deduction, net revenue, and your share.
What’s the revenue split and payment schedule?
For games submitted before 31 December 2026, you receive 100% of net revenue up to USD 5,000. After that, the split is 70% to you and 30% to Yes2Games, and your share rises to as much as 85% as your revenue grows. Payment is monthly, on net 30 terms. The Developer Agreement has the full details.
Do I own my game and IP?
Yes. You keep full ownership of your game, code, assets, and IP. Yes2Games gets a non-exclusive license to adapt and distribute it on the web. Once live, your game stays on its platforms for a minimum term: 12 months for games submitted before 31 December 2026, and 6 months after that. Leaving early forfeits unpaid revenue, and any unrecouped porting cost is still owed. After the minimum term, either side can end the agreement with 30 days’ written notice.
